UPDATE--Welcome to my unofficial Billy Hill and the Hillbillies website!  Billy and the Hillbillies perform 5 days a week at The Golden Horseshoe at Disneyland.  The Golden Horseshoe is currently undergoing a refurbishment outside but you can still step inside for a cool treat and fantastic toe-tappin', knee-slappin' entertainment!   Showtimes:   According to the Disneyland website, the new showtimes are 12:15, 1:30, 3:15, 4:30 and 5:30.  

It seems that sometimes we take the most wonderful Disneyland attraction (The Billies) for granted.  To show how much you care, make a quick visit to City Hall and fill out a compliment sheet on the boys, or just click here.

Billy Schedule:  Billy Gold (consisting of John, Kirk, Dennis, and Duane or Rick) will perform Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while Billy Blue (consisting of Kirk, Dennis, Anders and Rick) will perform Sundays and Mondays.  Per usual, all of this information is subject to change on the whim of the Disney Entertainment Management.

**Disneyland News and Tidbits**

We heard via Disneyland grapevine that a 5th Pirates of the Caribbean movie is currently in the works!  Frankly, I hope it is true.  While I enjoyed POTC: On Strange Tides, I was surprised by the lack of sword fighting and gunship battles.  My hope is that those fabulous features of a great swashbuckling movie will be back in #5 as Capt. Jack Sparrow seeks to free his beloved Black Pearl from the confines of the glass jug!

**WEEKEND UPDATES**

Thursday, June 2, 2011~ ~ DCA is in full construction mode and you can see the mountains of Radiator Springs rising up in the background as you enter DCA.  The Sun Plaza is gone, replaced with a huge mountain of steel as the new Carthay Movie House building goes up.  The main gateway is taking shape nicely, fashioned after the old Paladium and of course, the new Little Mermaid attraction just opened where Golden Dreams used to be.  The Wonderful World of Color show got an addition to its show, as a segment featuring POTC: On Strange Tides joins the lineup.  Unfortunately, to add the POTC segment, the villains segment had to go, so we say goodbye to the Chernabog and Hellfire sequence of the show.  It is still an amazing show and I highly recommend that everyone see it!

One thing more...I would just like to say a continued "Thank You" to John, Kirk, Evan and Dennis and all the other Billies for their incredible talent, ever-present kindness and honest friendship through the many years and over-700 shows that I have seen.  Thanks guys! :)

Evan Marshall ~ Evan "Billy Mandolin" Marshall is performing with Riders of the Purple Sage all over the greater Los Angeles area.  Here is a recent message from Evan--"I play with the Cody Bryant show most Thu/Fri/Sat's since December... I usually play fiddle 99% of the evening, but often there is a Billy Tell moment.  Come and go any time you like for food/drinks/both...
