Disney has decided to continue it's "Year of a Million Dreams" theme throughout 2008, so keep your fingers crossed that the Dream Team will pick you to win one of their daily fabulous prizes!

It seems that sometimes we take the most wonderful Disneyland attraction (The Billies) for granted. To show how much you care, make a quick visit to City Hall and fill out a compliment sheet on the boys, or just click here.
Billy Schedule: Billy Gold (consisting of John, Kirk, Dennis, and Duane or Rick) will perform Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, Billy Blue (consisting of Kirk, Dennis, Anders and Rick) will perform Sundays and Mondays, and Billy Green (consisting of John, Duane, Little John and John David) will perform Thursdays and Fridays.

Billy and Golden Horseshoe News~
The Year of a Million Dreams comes to the Golden Horseshoe as several tables in the front row and Walt's booth are now reserved for lucky park guests who have been chosen that day to have a front row seat at the best attraction in the park!
Disneyland Resort~ Some rumors from cast members I heard are that at the end of this year, the park will be getting the new Mark VII monorails. Currently, there is only 1 monorail left running and they have decorated it with the "Year of a Million Dreams" scheme. When the new ones are added, it will be monorail red, monorail purple and monorail blue. The monorail is currently back to going on its complete journey around Tomorrowland, over the lagoon and around the Matterhorn. There is a new queue line area and it all has a retro look to it, reminiscent of the old Tomorrowland colors and styles.
Small World is down for a major refurbishment until late November, 2008.
Sad Passings-- Last week, Ollie Johnston, the last of Walt's "9 Old Men" passed away. Ollie created memorable characters and scenes in such animated movies as "Bambi", "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves", "Jungle Book", "Robin Hood" and "The Rescuers". He and Frank Thomas authored several animation books, one which is even reverently called the Animator's Bible, used by hunders of animators to this day. Goodbye Ollie, and thanks for your wonderful talent.
California Screamin' ~ Disney's California Adventure will undergo a $1.4 billion overhaul that has long been coming. The park, which has been dubbed Eisner's Misadventure, has not performed as well as TWDC had imagined or hoped for. Yearly attendance for the park was a mere 7 million visitors compared to over 15 million visitors who attend Disneyland. So TWDC has decided to totally revamp the park. Favorites like Screamin', Soarin', Tower of Terror and the Aladdin musical will definitely remain, although the future of the rest of the attractions is uncertain at this time. Stay tuned for further updates.
Friday, April 4, 2008~ ~ This day my 8 year old nephew came down for a visit with his favorite Auntie (me) and we went to the 1:00 Billy show. The line up this day was Billy Bass, Billy Duane, Billy Little John and Billy John David. They did their typical Green Team show to a full and very appreciative house. My little nephew got all embarrassed at one point when Billy Little John waived to him from the stage and the audience turned to look at him! It was a great show and afterwards, Billy Bass and Billy John David came out to say hi--Thanks Billys!
Then it was off to Tomorrowland to ride all the rides there, Pirates of the Caribbean, Go Gadgets Coasters, Roger Rabbit Spinout and other various rides. Even though it was spring break at the time, the park was not crowded and we had an enjoyable day there.
One thing more...I would just like to say a continued "Thank You" to John, Kirk, Evan and Dennis and all the other Billies for their incredible talent, ever-present kindness and honest friendship through the many years and over-600 shows that I have seen. Thanks guys! :)

Billy Bass and Billy Doohickey ~ are currently performing on Sundays at Downtown Disney in front of the pizza place from 1-5 in the afternoons. The players are usually some combination of John Marshall, Evan Marshall, Arshag Chookorian, and Smokewood Dan. Check them out!
